Every public event on Grand Boulevard's calendar from now through Dec. 22 ends by 8 p.m. The season starts Friday, Oct. 30, with Barktoberfest from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. It ends on the Tuesday before Christmas with an hour of holiday entertainment in Grand Park that finishes at 7.
In between, the schedule sticks to two shapes. One is a short early-evening window that starts around 4 or 5 and is done before a late dinner. The other is a Saturday morning in the park. This year's new tenants fit the same pattern. They pushed the district's day earlier, and the one restaurant that might have pushed it later hasn't opened yet.
The calendar, Friday to Friday and into December
Here are the dated events Grand Boulevard has posted for the rest of 2026, plus the weekly market that runs underneath them.
| Date | Day | Event | Window |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oct. 30 | Friday | Barktoberfest presented by Dog Harmony | 4:30–6:30 p.m. |
| Oct. 31 | Saturday | Halloween on the Boo-ulevard | 4–6 p.m. |
| Nov. 6 | Friday | 30A BBQ Festival | 5:30–8 p.m. |
| Nov. 20 | Friday | Hometown Holiday Parade | 5–7 p.m. |
| Dec. 1, 8, 15, 22 | Tuesdays | Holiday Entertainment in Grand Park | 6–7 p.m. |
| Dec. 4 | Friday | Festival of Trees | 4–7:30 p.m. |
| Dec. 4 | Friday | Holiday Sip & Shop | 4–8 p.m. |
| Dec. 5 | Saturday | Holiday Market on the Blvd | 9 a.m.–2 p.m. |
| Every Saturday | Saturday | Grand Boulevard Farmers Market | 9 a.m.–1 p.m. |
The longest evening window is Holiday Sip & Shop at four hours. The shortest is the Tuesday holiday hour. Four of the dates are Fridays. Of the evening events, only the December Tuesdays fall on a school night, and they last 60 minutes.
Some dates have their own details. The Emerald Coast Magazine October/November calendar lists a dog-costume contest at Barktoberfest and tastings from local pitmasters at the BBQ Festival. Grand Boulevard says BBQ Festival proceeds go to The Sonder Project. Some older listings still show a Friday, Nov. 7 BBQ date. That listing is for the 2025 festival. This year's date is Friday, Nov. 6. The Festival of Trees page describes decorated trees and awards for nonprofits.
Tuesday at 6 has been a Grand Park slot since May
The December Tuesdays continue a schedule that started earlier in the year. In May, Get the Coast reported that Grand Boulevard was launching two free weekly series in Grand Park. Bands on the BLVD ran Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m., May 21 through July 2. The new Big BLVD Bash, a DJ night, ran Tuesdays starting at 6 p.m., May 26 through June 30.
The holiday series uses the same night and the same start time. Holiday Entertainment runs every Tuesday from Dec. 1 to Dec. 22, 6 to 7 p.m. It's shorter than the summer version, which fits a month when the sun sets well before 6. If you went to a June Tuesday in the park, December uses the same hour on the calendar.
That pattern explains the rest of the season. Grand Boulevard uses the park as a place for repeat visits on set days and hours. The one-off events, from Barktoberfest to the parade, sit inside the same early-evening hours.
Two Saturdays that fill the whole day
The weekly farmers market runs every Saturday in the park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free to the public. The current listing doesn't give an end date for the season. That Saturday morning is the base everything else sits on, and twice this fall the calendar adds to it.
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year. The market runs in the morning, and Halloween on the Boo-ulevard runs from 4 to 6 p.m. The Emerald Coast Magazine calendar describes the trick-or-treat as free and open to the public. That makes Oct. 31 one of only two days this season with programming on both ends.
The other is Saturday, Dec. 5. Holiday Market on the Blvd runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day, starting at the same time as the weekly market and ending an hour later. It comes right after the Dec. 4 Friday evening, when the Festival of Trees runs from 4 to 7:30 and Holiday Sip & Shop from 4 to 8. That Friday-and-Saturday pair is the busiest stretch on the posted calendar.
The 2026 additions moved the day earlier
The year's newest tenants support the morning half of that schedule.
Perla Baking Co., an artisan bakery and café from DeFuniak Springs, opened its second location at Grand Boulevard by late March. It's open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Perla's own site, the address is 325 Grand Blvd., Suite 100. Perla opens two and a half hours before the farmers market starts, and it closes at 4, the hour the earliest evening events, Halloween and the Festival of Trees, begin.
The other additions are errand stops more than evening destinations. Warby Parker opened its first Northwest Florida store at Grand Boulevard on April 18, 2026. Its store page lists hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 to 7 on Friday and Saturday, and noon to 6 on Sunday. On Sept. 1, Grand Boulevard announced Rowan, an ear-piercing studio of 534 square feet in Suite L-106 where nurses do the piercings. Rowan's own page for the studio takes appointment bookings but still lists daily hours as "Coming Soon."
Put a 6:30 a.m. bakery, an eyewear store that closes at 6 most weekdays, and a piercing studio booked by appointment together, and Grand Boulevard reads as a place for daytime errands with a few evening hours each week. Its event calendar has the same shape.
The restaurant that could stretch the evening is still coming
The one announced addition aimed at later hours is Shades Bar & Grill. In fall 2025, the NWF Daily News reported that Spell Restaurant Group, led by father and daughter Rick Spell and Christy Spell Terry, planned a second Shades location at Grand Boulevard, expected in summer 2026. Grand Boulevard's own announcement gave the space as 4,800 square feet at 8670 U.S. Highway 98, with a late-summer 2026 target.
Late summer has passed. The restaurant's site for the Grand Boulevard location still says "Coming Soon," and the group's restaurant page still shows the late-summer target, with no newer opening date and no posted hours. The late hours posted on the Shades 30A website are for the original Inlet Beach location and say nothing about how the Grand Boulevard location will run. For now, the district's posted evenings end where the calendar does, at 8 p.m. on the latest nights.
Four outings to put on the calendar now
- Friday, Oct. 30, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Barktoberfest, the first event of the season and the only one built around dogs.
- Friday, Nov. 6, 5:30 to 8 p.m. The 30A BBQ Festival, with proceeds going to The Sonder Project.
- Friday, Nov. 20, 5 to 7 p.m. The Hometown Holiday Parade, which opens the holiday run.
- Friday, Dec. 4, and Saturday, Dec. 5. The Festival of Trees and Holiday Sip & Shop on Friday evening, then the Holiday Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The four December Tuesdays and every Saturday morning happen in Grand Park whether or not anything else is on the calendar that week.
Here at Found Real Estate, we track Miramar Beach week by week, from Grand Park on a Saturday morning to the restaurants still preparing to open along U.S. 98. If you'd like that same local knowledge for a home decision in Miramar Beach, contact us and we'll share what we see.
